Quiet mornings

2016-05-16+11.33.20.jpg

The Society of the Sacred Advent offers quiet mornings at various times throughout the year. These mornings are intended to offer space for contemplation, reflection and prayer, and will be led by members of the SSA Community.

Typically we gather for tea and coffee from 9.00am and conclude with a Eucharist at 12 noon. You are welcome to bring your lunch and stay on to eat together. Details for each Quiet Morning will be included in the event tiles below.

Worship

The Community meets on the first Sunday of the month at St Colomb’s Anglican Church, Victoria Street Clayfield. We begin with hospitality from 3pm in the Church Hall, and Eucharist at 4pm in the Church. Everyone is welcome.

Four times a year, in March, May, August and October, the Eucharist is followed by a light meal and theological reflection. Enquirers and anyone who would just like to know more about the SSA are welcome to stay on for this meal.

Homilies from each month’s worship can be found here.
